Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and debug PLC programs using languages such as Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
- Design and implement control systems for various manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and quality control.
- Integrate PLCs with other control systems, including SCADA systems, robotics, and data acquisition systems.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing processes and improve system performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC programs, including user manuals, technical specifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on PLC operation and troubleshooting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automation and control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and automation in an industrial setting, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of control systems, electrical circuits, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Familiarity with PLC hardware from manufacturers such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
