Backend Developer

Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Backend Developer who is comfortable with back-end technologies, coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Work with Lead and development team to ideate scalable software solutions
2. Adhere to development strategies and coding practices
3. Design & Develop effective APIs
4. Develop well-functioning databases and applications
5. Ensure consistency with initial design and adhere to Schedules/Deadlines
6. Manage server-side architecture
7. Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
8. Collaborate with other developers, share ideas, and provide technical guidance as needed
9. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
10. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency of the application
11. Stay abreast of developments in Web applications and programming languages
12. Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality

Qualifications & Requirements

1. 3+ years of C#.NET experience
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft stack (C#.NET, .NET Frameworks, .NET MVC etc.)
3. Working knowledge of SQL Server databases and database system
4. Familiarity with web servers/services such as IIS, Apache etc.
5. Proficient in MS suite
6. Experience developing mobile applications preferred but not required
7. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field - MS/MA is preferred but not required
