Senior Engineer

Responsible for the complete store’s operations (receiving, issuance, dispatch).

• Managing receipt, storage, issuance, and smooth dispatches in plant as per SOP.
• Implement controls and SOP in Stores function and ensure that these are properly followed.
• Reconciliation of book stock vs physical stock for vendor location.
• Identification of non-moving inventory of more than 6 months and working with stakeholders for disposition.
• Ensure smooth issuance of BOM material to production line as per daily production plan.
• Ensuring real-time updating of records in SAP for all transactions.
• Coordinate with SAP team for resolving issues regarding errors in SAP.
• Ensure that bin-wise location matrix of material is maintained and updated.
• Responsible for annual physical stock take of inventory at plant location and close it in stipulated time.
• Ensuring that there should not be any wastage of material on account of handling and storage.
• Monitor shelf-life items and provide timely updates through shelf life alert report to all stakeholders.
• Responsible for palletizing of modules.
• Arrangement of vehicle at plant for dispatch and ensure proper loading as per SOP.
• Work with all stakeholders to eliminate customer complaints for packing and dispatch by implementation of proper standards, SOP, and training.
• Responsible for safety and safe working environment in Stores.
