Essential Functions:
Develops course curriculum for employees ranging in experience from the new graduate level up to seasoned professionals
Develops metrics for evaluating personnel"s skills and level of expertise to identify their appropriate instructional level
Leads students in CNC machining lessons that teach skills relevant to the unique needs driven by our product portfolio and product pipeline
Evaluates students" performance and provides performance summaries to management
Continuously evaluates emerging technologies and machining techniques and adjusts instructional material as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Prior experience teaching or mentoring in a college, technical, or vocational environment
10+ years of advanced machining experience
Knowledge and proficiency in conventional machine operations: Mill and Lathe
Proficient in MasterCAM
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of speeds and feeds for machining all types of metals
Ability to use micrometers, electronic gauges, calipers and similar tools and equipment
Basic knowledge of powder bed fusion additive manufacturing is preferred but not required
Experience with CREO NC is preferred but not required
