Responsibilities
- Support the Observability tool by maintaining and troubleshooting dashboards and creating new dashboards to meet operational requirements as needed.
- Create Grafana dashboards using PromQL (Prometheus query language).
- Identify any issues or bottlenecks to mitigate appropriately (e.g., feed issues, syntax changes, etc.).
- Produce high quality documentation, schematics and presentation materials as needed.
- Provide individual leadership in the realm of troubleshooting major incidents and problem management.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues and outages.
- Adhere to Citi's Corporate, Information Security and other functional standards and controls.
- Collaborate with Citi security developers on internally developed tools for telemetry gathering and data visualization efforts.
Qualifications
- 6+ years' hands-on Network Security experience with Firewalls, ACL’s, intrusion detection, proxies, vulnerability scanning, DNS, DDoS mitigation, SIEM platforms, etc.
- Strong proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Scripting experience required (Python highly preferred).
- Prior networking experience with routing/switching, LAN, WAN, etc. inclusive of modern network virtualization concepts to a professional level proficiency is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experience.
- One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto firewalls, CISSP or CCNA/CCNP.
