This position will be on a 100% Remote schedule
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain software applications for organizational messaging systems, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
- Maintain and modify legacy code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure messaging solutions.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software via thorough testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 8+ years' experience, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience in lieu of a degree (6 years).
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency and experience building web interfaces via React components.
- Proficiency in working with SQL, C#, JavaScript, git - in other words, a full stack developer.
- Ideal candidate would have experience porting from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required.
- A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required.
The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
