Roles and Responsibility Position: Commissioning EngineerBachelor Degree from reputed College/University with 10 Plus years of prior work experience on Commissioning of coal based powerplant. Having executed EPC Projects as commissioning Engineer for Coal fired /Gas fired Power projects. Should be a team player & support the project management team in every aspect. Shall possess extensive knowledge on commissioning & testing requirements.The candidate shall possess good knowledge on understanding all the components of Power plant AQCS system & Equipment i.e Pump, Fan, Absorber, Tank, Ball mill, Belt filter, Material handling, Chimney and auxiliary equipment.Experience in working for commissioning of AQCS equipment i.e ESP/ FGD /SCR would be added advantage,He will be reporting to the Project Manager.Key Tech Skills and Responsibilities:?Should be conversant on scope study and contract document related to project requirements,?Should Understand schedule & WBS-for the Project execution, To co-ordinate With project scheduler for the detailed project commissioning schedule?Should maintain close coordination with Process/Engineering, Project management, Contracts team, site management and sub-contractors.?Accountable for Commissioning of FGD plant & pre commissioning of sub system/equipment associated with FGD plant.?Ensure Industry safe practice & processes are in place & complied with.?Co-coordinating testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentations.?Supported all commissioning and start-up activities.?Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment.?Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of all equipment.?Make sure all systems are designed, installed, tested, operated, & maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client.?Highlighting & resolving all punch points.?Witness & reviewed the FGD plant performance testSoft Skills:?Fluency in English speaking & writing is minimum requirement.?Collaborating/liaison with inter discipline.?Co-ordination & representing with internal & external stakeholders during the pre-commissioning & commissioning.?Should keep the company secrets as per company policy.?Establishing strong professional working relationship with wide range of people.?Well organized and capable of meeting deadlines and to work on longer hours.?Knowledge of project scheduling software i.e. Microsoft projects, MS office, Primavera.
