Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a portfolio of Electronic Warfare programs. The role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to plan, execute, and assess engineering activities, as well as identifying and managing external dependencies. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of SoC and RF technology, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. Primary Responsibilities:
- Interface with Government personnel to identify required activities and resolve SE issues
- Collaborate with a team of engineers on technical management and execution of engineering activities
- Implement MBSE approach for systems planning, design, execution, and operations
- Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, interfaces, and working parameters
- Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation and diagrams/models
- Create meaningful entry/exit criteria for technical reviews and advocate for appropriate review artifacts
- Monitor & report technical variances and facilitate resolution of technical issues and risks
- Identify and manage external dependencies
- Employ new technologies to solve problems and apply those solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of SoC technology and RF technology
- Experience developing test plans, evaluating test results, and performing analysis
- Working knowledge of C/C++ and Linux operating systems
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate work with others
- Ability to travel to customer/subcontractor sites as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Displayed ability in the modeling, design, assembly, integration, and test of complex systems
- Master's Degree in Systems Engineering
- Working knowledge of electronics test equipment
- Strong understanding of radar theory and fundamentals
- Demonstrated leadership of a SoC development project
Pay Range: $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
