A Junior Android Developer with proficiency in Kotlin is an entry-level software engineer eager to start a career in Android application development. This role involves learning, collaborating, and contributing to the development of Android applications under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learning and Skill Development: Actively engage in learning Android development using Kotlin by studying resources, attending training, and seeking guidance from senior developers.
- Coding: Write code for Android applications, implement features, and contribute to the development of software components.
- Testing: Assist in writing and executing unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of Android applications.
- Bug Fixing: Investigate and address bugs and issues reported by QA and end-users, learning from debugging experiences.
- UI/UX Implementation: Work on the implementation of user interfaces (UI/UX) following design guidelines provided by senior developers or designers.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, including senior developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers, to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Version Control: Familiarize with version control systems like Git and contribute to code repositories.
Experience: 2-3 years as Android Developer.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and object-oriented principles.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with Android and Kotlin development technologies.
- Some experience with Kotlin or Java programming languages.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and Android app development basics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
