Senior Software Integration Engineer
The Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering an integration environment, to facilitate the work of AI engineers and Data Scientists/Analysts (users). This integration work enables commercial components to seamlessly operate in a firewalled environment. The delivered environment is on the critical path supporting the analysts.
After this project is completed, the integration engineer will work with the HPC Engineering Team, to take on responsibilities to transition software and code into the environment for delivery to users on cutting edge GPU and CPU clustered fabrics.
What you will be doing
The Software Integration Engineer will initially integrate a commercial data science environment that enables publishing custom packages and executing jobs in a firewalled environment. Successfully delivering this project requires developer and system administration skills, combined with technical problem solving.
The position will work with the users, cloud service providers and other engineering talent on the team to succeed. This position will own the delivery of the system.
As that project moves to maintenance, the role will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities working with and delivering the AI, ML and Scientific Computing fabric as part of the program’s larger mission.
What you need:
- Expertise operating and administering Linux environments as a developer
- Cloud experience, specifically AWS
- Senior software development skills
- Mastery of scripting and programming (Java, Bash, Python, etc.)
- Troubleshooting and implementing solutions related to technical network issue.
- Can operate at a senior level with minimum guidance
- Comfortable working directly with users and briefing clients on status
- Experience documenting (requirements, code, briefings/primers, status, etc.)
- Agile development experience
- Familiarity with industry standard tools
- An eagerness to learn and collaborate
- Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of security compliance risk assessment and mitigation.
- A degree in a related field and/or commensurate experience in developing and delivering software. Experience of 12+ years experience with a relevant degree.

Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role
Salary range:
$132,918.00 - $287,470.00 (Annually)*
