Java Developer

We are seeking a software development engineer to join a team of technical experts who are responsible for Canon USA original application development. In this position, you will engage in application development using Canon technologies. You will take an active role in creating specifications and designing products, working with project management, customers and/or field personnel to determine products’ requirements, architecting and developing the products.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required. Computer Engineering is preferred.
• 3 years of solid experience in Java programming required
• Knowledge of APDU commands preferred
• Knowledge of Web development (HTML/JavaScript/CSS) preferred
• Knowledge of Git preferred
• Knowledge of how to consume REST in Java and experience in it preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent written & verbal communication skills required
