Located in Howard County, Maryland, Nteligen engineers solutions to the challenges of information movement. We perform proactive cyber threat mitigation in everything we do. Qualifications

The qualifications for the Senior Engineer position include knowledge of engineering principles, research and engineering assignments, and experience writing technical artifacts. A degree in engineering, scientific, or systems management discipline, a minimum of 5 years of experience of increasing responsibility in the fields of Science & Engineering or Computer Science, and personal experience in project planning.


Hard Requirements

  1. BS degree in engineering or scientific discipline and 5+ years of professional experience.
  2. Experience developing software systems that operate on Enterprise Linux or comparable operating systems.
  3. Experience in performing the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  4. Experience writing object-oriented code such as C++, Java, or Python.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  6. Must be a US citizen and have an active security clearance.
  7. Experience writing technical documentation.

Preferred Requirements (but Not Required)

  1. Experience in Cross Domain Solutions.
  2. Experience developing secure systems.
  3. Familiar with memory-safe coding languages, such as Go or Rust.
  4. Experience in any of the following technologies:
  5. C software development.
  6. FPGA software development.
  7. Mandatory Access Control policy, ie. SELinux.
  8. gRPC.
  9. Protobuf.
  10. Linux Internals.
  11. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, ie. Packer, Ansible, & Terraform.
  12. MS Azure or other cloud platform development.
  13. Familiarity with Build Management, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing (Maven, Jenkins).
  14. Experience with requirements analysis.
  15. Familiar with Ansible or familiar tools.
