This position works in the Rotating Equipment Reliability group and reports to the Rotating Equipment Reliability Specialist team lead.ResponsibilitiesOversee Unit Reliability Team to identify, prioritize, and solve Bad ActorsCollaborate with multiple departments to ensure alignment on path forward of reliability solutions including operations, maintenance, global process engineering, corporate engineering, local engineering teamsSupport and collaborate with plant and corporate subject matter experts (SMEs) on rotating equipment changesOversee and monitor hyper-compressor operation and reliability strategyProvide input to yearly expense and capital budget plans based on reliability strategy for PEDeliver long term vision for preventative and predictive maintenance for PolyethyleneReview Solomon RAM and Townsend Benchmarking Studies and deliver improved on-stream timeSupport and lead root cause analysis effortsParticipate in PE Turnarounds and outage scope developmentParticipate in PE outages, reactor outages and support startup and shutdown effortsMentor reliability engineers to grow plant capability and competencyDevelop and Provide appropriate training and guidance to operations and crafts to improve performanceProvide off-site and on-site shop oversight for key equipment repairsParticipate in unit quality and process efforts as applicableRequired QualificationsBachelors Engineering Degree7+ years PE experience5+ years extruder experience12+ years Industry Plant ExperienceExperience in solution, gas and autoclave technology and equipment as it relates to these technologiesPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with root cause analysis programFamiliar with SAPFamiliar with MeridiumParticipant in Industry PE conferences and forumsChevron Phillips Chemical offers competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and at most locations, alternate work schedules.
