Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and high-quality features including security, reliability, and operations. Understand the software development lifecycle and leverage critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: Software Development using Java, Spring Boot, REST, SonarQube, Nexus, and Github; Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber; CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Gradle, OCP and helm charts, and JMeter; Message Brokers including Rabbit MQ; InfluxDB and Grafana for monitoring and analysis; Database technologies including Oracle, Postgres, and SQL.

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,210 to $146,100. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
