Our client is seeking an SQL Programmer for their successful, well-established team located in beautiful Monmouth County NJ. Would you like to work with top regional and national healthcare providers? As an SQL Programmer, you will support senior project managers in designing and implementing creative solutions for assigned tasks. The SQL programmer will be responsible for writing SQL statements, designing databases, and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. You will also work with in-house programming.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support application (Development and Support)
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and process owners to identify opportunities, define business requirements, and assist in designing and implementing solutions to maximize efficiency
- Produce code to meet standards for each assigned task
- Create unit test plans and test summary
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Information Technology experience in production support, programming, or development
- High understanding of business and technical requirements for each assigned project
- High understanding of system performance expectations for application being developed
- High level of Microsoft SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased workload
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple job functions simultaneously
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Information Technology experience in production support, programming, or development
- Experience with SQL, VB, and C#
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exposure to databases and file structures
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team/collaborative environment
- Healthcare industry experience highly desired, not required
