Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer specializing in Java and microservices for our clients. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that power our applications. You should have a strong foundation in Java development, as well as a deep understanding of microservices architecture and best practices. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services using Java and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure the smooth operation of our applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in backend development and microservices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Java and microservices.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficient in Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
- Previous experience with GraphQL.
