Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer/Developer to help us put the power of big data and machine learning to work for companies solving the world’s toughest engineering challenges. We are a well-funded startup with an all-star team founded by Jay Walker (founder of Priceline.com), and we’re looking for A-players to join our expanding engineering team. What You Will Do
- Work alongside former start-up founders and Y-Combinator graduates in a dynamic environment to deliver a high-quality product.
- Participate in the entire feature design process from concept through wireframing.
- Own and build out features across the entire development stack.
- Write tests religiously at every step of the development process – there’s no such thing as manual testing!
- Help streamline our development and deployment tools and processes.
- Contribute to strategic decisions on product and business strategy to help us steer the ship.
- Stay on top of the latest tools and technologies as part of the continuous improvement of our processes.
- Wear every hat in the product development lifecycle from business analyst to dev ops.
What We Look For
- 5 - 7 years experience in full-stack web development.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency in dynamic languages and at least one modern web framework.
- Experience with REST/JSON APIs.
- Solid layout skills (Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, LESS).
- A love of Git and CI tools.
