Position: 1st Shift CNC Milling Machinist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join our team for our 1st shift operations. As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts and components. You will also be responsible for planning, constructing, altering, and repairing a variety of fixtures and tools to support production.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce parts and components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and instructions to determine machining operations.
• Use existing programs, equipment manuals, and prints to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
• Plan, construct, alter, and repair fixtures and tools to support production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate production.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Knowledge of tooling and fixture design.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work 1st shift and overtime as needed.
