Senior Electrical Engineer - PE

As an integral part of the team, you will utilize your expertise in electrical power distribution, grounding, lighting, and ancillary systems design to tackle complex challenges head-on. Your proficiency in arc flash, short circuit, and time current coordination studies will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of projects.
Beyond technical ability, our client is seeking individuals with a knack for collaboration and leadership. Your ability to lead designers and drafters in the creation of construction documents will be essential in bringing the vision to life. Experience in chemical, refining, or heavy industrial environments is highly valued, as is a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Local travel only.
Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and ancillary systems.
• Conduct arc flash, short circuit, and time current coordination studies to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive design solutions.
• Mentor and guide designers and drafters in the creation of construction documents.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, proposals, and engineering estimates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration (P.E.) is required.
• Experience in chemical, refining, or heavy industrial environments is highly valued.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
