DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Work with Engineering, DevOps, and Testing to provide user self-service access to resources in our compute cloud.
- Build with DevOps, IT, and Engineering to expand our compute cloud.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience with building cloud infrastructure with Linux/Unix.
- Practical knowledge of Linux administration, virtualization (KVM), containers (LXC, LXD, Docker), Linux networking, and Linux shared storage.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies, such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenNebula, KVM, Ceph, AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and is not open to remote status at this time.
This contract position has a base pay range of $100 - $125 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
