UX Researcher

The User Researcher is passionate about creating user-centric experiences. This resource works closely with the UI/UX team, SMEs, and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Collect and analyze user behavior through field visits, surveys, benchmark studies, usage, and A/B testing.
2. Work with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
3. Advocate research findings to a diverse audience through written and in-person presentations.
4. Test designs through ad-hoc user feedback sessions with internal users, stakeholders, and customers.
5. Influence Product design by synthesizing and communicating research findings through artifacts including personas, user journeys, outcome-based use cases, prototypes, models, information architecture frameworks, and usability test reports.
6. Identify the best method for user research based on stakeholder questions, goals, and timelines.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. 4+ years’ experience influencing the user experience of web applications in a creative/R&D environment.
2. Specific experience with UX research, interaction and mobile design, prototyping tools, and responsive web frameworks.
3. Experience integrating user research into product designs and practices.
4. A strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.

Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
