Position: Node.JS Developer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6+ months

Job Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Understand and provide architectural solutions in building responsive websites.
2. Design highly maintainable applications.
3. Work on integrating web apps, third-party services, and APIs.
4. Learn about new technologies and participate in product development.
5. Implement best practices for enterprise integration systems.
6. Analyze pre-existing client software to determine areas for continuous improvement.
7. Collaborate with your team, other teams, Business Analysts, QA, Information Security, and operations to develop solutions that meet business product requirements and deliver good performance, scalability, and reliability.
8. Meet realistic implementation schedules and adhere to development goals and principles.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong in OOAD, design patterns, and application framework development.
2. Strong hands-on experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, and NodeJS.
3. Experience integrating systems such as SAP, SSO, and other enterprise applications.
4. Experience with single-page applications and the MEAN stack.
5. Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
6. Experience using Grunt and Bower.
7. Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB / Redis).
8. End-to-end testing (Protractor).
9. Strong in API design, development, and integration with third-party services.
10. Experience integrating with analytics tools (Piwik / Google Analytics).
11. Strong in designing multi-component/multi-server deployments of a solution.
12. Strong debugging skills.
13. Experience working in an Agile SDLC methodology.
14. Experience with search indexing tools like Lucene and Elastic.
15. Ability to perform at a high level in a technical team.
16. Prior experience in re-architecting old/legacy systems is preferable.
17. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
18. Excellent communication and relationship skills with a “can-do” attitude.
19. Familiarity with GIT, Drupal, and Azure.
