Major Duties:

  • Serves as the BLM Hazmat authoritative expert for the Department and BLM on appropriate hazardous materials committees, subcommittees, working groups, etc.
  • Provides leadership in evaluation of issues, development of options, and analysis for the Directorate on program decisions affecting policy areas.
  • Serves as BLM's senior technical and policy authority for HMM, integrating the various aspects of the discipline into related policy areas.
  • Analyzes, formulates, and develops the BLM budget requests to the Department and Congress for HMM.

Education:

This position has a positive education requirement which requires that you have a degree or a combination of education and experience.
