Job Description:

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• • Implement and maintain database security, including the creation and maintenance of users, roles, and access privileges.
• • Monitor database performance and perform tuning activities to optimize efficiency.
• • Perform regular backups and recovery operations, ensuring minimal data loss and downtime.
• Database Design and Implementation
• • Design and implement database solutions to support business applications and initiatives.
• • Work with development teams to design database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and other database objects.
• • Maintain comprehensive documentation of database environments, configurations, and procedures.
• • Produce regular reports on database performance, usage, and security metrics.
• • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for database management.
• • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale Oracle database environments.
• • Technical Skills:
• • In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
• • Proficient in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle GoldenGate.
• • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other database management tools.
• • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
• Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) certification is highly desirable.
