This Role:
Our collaborative Product Design team is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer located at our Huntsville, AL production facility. This will be a full time , in-person role reporting to plant leadership.
What You Will Do:
This Manufacturing Process Engineer will help improve the efficiency of manufacturing operations at the Huntsville facility by supporting and improving the facility’s production system, including verifying and improving various manufacturing processes.
How You Will Do It:
- Create/collect/perform analyses on operational data (including work force utilization, facility layout, production schedules and process flow charts) to identify opportunities for cost reduction projects
- Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects from inception to completion using comprehensive engineering processes/techniques, ensuring the projects meet applicable specifications/standards
- Lead cross functional communication on projects/initiatives including the transition of new products from prototype to full scale production, serve as liaison to adjacent teams
- Document and review product routings + BOMs for accuracy
- Manage engineering change orders
What We’re Looking For:
- Current work authorization in the U.S. without requiring future visa sponsorship required
- Bachelor’s level engineering degree required, industrial engineering ideal
- Proven experience training/implementing flow-based manufacturing concepts required
- Lean/Six Sigma and/or Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
