Full Stack Java Developer

Description:

Our industry-leading financial services client is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer.

Rate: $65 - 72 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

1. Performing independent technical and functional analysis for determining and developing the best delivery approaches based on requirements.
2. Providing original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts and critical initiatives.
3. Development on small to sophisticated initiatives, components, and subsystems.
4. Supporting and performing all phases of testing leading to final implementation, including unit, integration, acceptance testing, and production install validation.
5. Crafting and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation and status.
6. Providing application support, problem diagnosis and resolution, acting as an on-call resource supporting the organization incident escalation models, including code release validation and production installation support.

Experience Requirements:

1. Hands-on experience on Angular.
2. Hands-on experience on Java.
3. Experience developing Java, Spring Framework, and REST/SOAP Web Services.
4. Experience designing and maintaining Cloud applications (AWS).
5. Experience with CI/CD process (Jenkins, UDeploy, Concourse, Terraform).
6. Knowledge of Equities market and Trading of Stock, Options, and Mutual Funds.
7. Prior experience with Production Support activities is a plus.
8. BS with a technology-related subject area is preferred.
9. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. You have experience with relational database design and analysis.
11. You have the ability to take initiative and are self-motivated.
12. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. You can work in a highly matrixed, agile environment.
