Senior Manager, Engineering - Productivity

We are looking for a Senior Manager for our Engineering Productivity team!

NVIDIA is seeking a senior manager who is experienced in improving developer productivity with a focus on enhancing the overall efficiency of our development processes. A unique aspect of this role will be to focus on improving the efficiency of our Automotive Safety and Security Processes. You will lead a small team of engineers that works closely with our Drive OS engineering teams to develop software infrastructure that maximizes developer satisfaction and efficiency.

What you will be doing:

1. Build, optimize and maintain robust Multimedia (camera, graphics, video) focused CI/CD pipelines for Tegra hardware.
2. Drive continual improvements for automation of maintenance and creation of Safety and Security work products.
3. Drive the usage of AI into our CI pipelines and processes.

What we need to see:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering or equivalent experience.
2. 8+ overall years of proven ability in developing CI/CD processes and DevOps contribution with a real passion for automation.
3. Extensive experience in Linux distributions (Ubuntu).
4. 3+ years of demonstrated ability in writing programs using Python.
5. 2+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Team-Leader.
6. Good background in Scripting (Python, Bash).
7. Good knowledge of virtualization in Linux (Containers, Docker, Kubernetes).
8. Extensive CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins).
9. Configuration and deployment management (Ansible).
10. Expertise in Source control infrastructure (Gitlab, Gerrit).

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

1. Background in running inside an agile DevOps team.
2. Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical environments, while achieving (or exceeding) all security, reliability, scalability and availability metrics.
3. Strong, proven knowledge of modern architectures and expertise in networking & compute infrastructure.
4. Expertise in code to documentation flows (Sphinx, Doxygen).
5. Good understanding of C/C++ toolchain in Linux including cross-compilation (C, C++, make).

The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
