Your Role: As a Product Compliance Engineer, you will be a key member of our Operations’ Compliance, Environment, and Quality department. You will collaborate with global technical teams, customers, suppliers, and third-party laboratories to ensure our products and packaging meet Safety and EMC compliance requirements worldwide.

This role is based at our global headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and requires onsite presence five days a week. You will report to the Global Regulatory Compliance Manager.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Serve as a Regulatory Compliance Department resource for all product Safety and EMC activities, supporting product design and manufacturing globally.

  • Maintain the processes to ensure full product compliance required by global regulatory bodies, customers and/or internal company directives.

  • Implement global product Safety and EMC standards and regulations (e.g., CE, FCC, FDA, UL/IEC61010, UL/IEC62368, battery regulations, etc.) and create standard work for their periodic updates in support of new product development and maintenance of existing products.

  • Communicate product compliance needs as to internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers.

  • Participate in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process to maintain product Safety and EMC requirements.

  • Provide a Regulatory Compliance interface and support other Veralto Operating Companies in collaborative efforts regarding product Safety and EMC compliance topics.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

  • Strong interest and awareness of global safety and EMC expectations for electronic and electro-mechanical products.

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time including international and domestic travel.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
