Lead Innovation and Design Engineer, Global Design and Engineering

We are seeking a driven engineer to join our team at Amazon. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems. You will spearhead multiple projects from concept realization through design approval and act as the primary technical contact for our suppliers. Once the design phase is complete, you will support our Ops Engineering team in the installation and commissioning of the projects to ensure successful implementation.

Your work will encompass a range of projects, including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits. You will be involved in the design of fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, specialty facilities, and transportation centers across North America and Europe. Key Responsibilities:

• Design innovative and cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
