Akkodis is proud to partner with a designer, manufacturer, and service provider of control solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets who is currently accepting applications for a Controls Engineer. As a Controls Engineer you will be responsible for performing routine functions which require the application of standard techniques and criteria in carrying out a sequence of controls engineering task.
This is a direct hire opportunity, fully onsite in Zeeland, MI.
Pay/Salary: $72,100.00 per year to $85,900.00 Per year
Responsibilities:
- Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
- Recognizes problems that are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.
- Performs routine functions that require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
- Designs, supports and tests low complexity controls and automation systems and equipment. Ensures designs meet useability and supportability criteria.
- Applies industry best practices for machine safety, ergonomics, and efficiency/product yield.
- Supports the manufacturing floor for any controls related questions
Qualifications:
Level 1 Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Engineering, or Mechatronics is required.
- No Experience Required, Internship Preferred
- General knowledge of Ignition Platform SCADA software
Level 2 Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Engineering, or Mechatronics is required.
- 1 year or more of related experience required.
- Basic knowledge of Ignition Platform SCADA software
