Air Vehicle Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in air vehicle systems engineering for NAVAIR at Patuxent Naval Air Station
• Support the Air System Group and Program Management Office
• Engage in systems engineering for air vehicle aeromechanics, structures, materials and subsystems
• Coordinate with geographically dispersed teams and prioritize high visibility efforts
• Articulate complex technical challenges and resolutions

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field with 2 years of experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
• United States citizenship

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with CAMEO SysML Model Based Systems Engineering
• Experience in various aspects of air vehicle systems engineering
• Experience in root cause corrective action (RCCA) efforts
• Experience in systems engineering technical reviews (SETR)
• Strong communication skills
