Job Overview

This organization is looking for a talented Software Engineer to work in our Network Team developing and supporting our networking theatrical lighting configuration software.

Candidates should feel comfortable learning new things and be comfortable in both team and solo environments. This job touches several disciplines of Software Engineering ranging from UI development, networking protocols, scalability problem solving, software efficiency optimizations, and more.

Qualifications for Software Engineer Job

• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills

• Experience in C++, and Qt Framework
• Experience in multi-threaded programming
• Experience in writing software that uses networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, and multicasting.

• A self-starter motivated to get the job done while satisfying project requirements
• Ability to estimate time required to complete tasks

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Experience with:

o Lua

o Python

o Wireshark

o Developing software across multiple platforms such as Windows and MacOS

o Networking lighting protocols such as ACN and RDM

o Writing and maintaining build CI pipelines

o Jira, Git, and GitLab
