Position: Packaging Production Designer / Graphic Designer

Position Duties:

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of Portfolio packaging standards.
• Collaborate with partners to develop and implement brand relevant solutions to new problems while maintaining the integrity of the existing brand across multiple packaging formats and categories.
• Create presentation decks, mock-ups and other materials to support approval moments.
• Present concepts and creative work in an organized and effective manner to packaging partners.
• Work closely with global teams to execute production files.
• Interpret feedback and design critique to make timely updates to work in progress.
• Responsible for asset management; maintain and update all standards, toolkits, and support documentation.
• Proof all vendor-produced artwork to ensure integrity and consistency to the brand standards.
• Organize and plan details for multiple projects in order to meet project deadlines. Integrates and balances competing priorities.
• Knowledgeable of the print process, packaging substrates and dielines, from concept through execution.
• Provide expertise in key software applications and execution techniques.
• Drive continual improvement by defining quality standards and best practices.
• Stay current with latest industry, style and graphic trends.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy of work.

Position Details:

• Location: Hybrid - Twin Cities, MN Area
• Rate: $45/hr.
• Assignment Length: 6 Months
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Position Qualifications:

• 4-8 years experience
• Fundamental design skills with the ability to receive and interpret design direction with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under high pressure/stressful situations while maintaining professionalism.
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of MAC applications and Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Comfort with online collaboration tools like Zoom, Teams, Miro, Slack, Conceptboard.
