ResponsibilitiesArcfield is looking for experienced engineers to join a skilled, highly respected, and long-standing team supporting Space Protection-related Modeling and Simulation Analysis. The successful candidate should have domain knowledge of diverse space and ground platforms and sensor phenomenology. They will be part of a team developing, tailoring, maintaining, and using a robust capability of engineering models and simulators in support of predictive analysis of complex systems. Responsibilities may include: Perform space protection evaluations of threat avoidance (course of action) concepts Develop, maintain, and deliver integrated software tools that can be used to evaluate the application of satellite protection technologies and tradecraft throughout the system engineering lifecycle. Perform M&S to support development and tailoring of software, algorithms, and technologies Perform Orbital analyses and trade studies Perform Maneuver Determination and Analysis Campaign Modeling and Scenario development, modeling, and analysis QualificationsRequired: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Must POSSESS and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Experience with space protection evaluations and collision avoidance evaluations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative technical solutions or approaches to problems Intelligence community domain knowledge, and demonstrated understanding of user needs and operational environments Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle to include independent testing and data verification Experience developing M&S engineering code to solve hard problems and create processes for repeatable results.
