About The Role

SGS is seeking a full-time Software Engineer III with experience in frontend development and a desire to grow into more of our software stack. Responsibilities

  • Work on various elements of the platform and translating ideas into coherent software development roadmaps
  • Participate in, and improve upon our agile development process
  • Write robust, maintainable, and future-proof code
  • Perform code reviews, engage in software design and architecture discussions, as well as communicate technical information to non-technical teams
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related) degree
  • Practical experience contributing to live, production-level software
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML, and frontend development methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of the React framework and ecosystem
  • Hands-on architect with the ability to write well-documented, extensible code
  • Experience building performant, scalable web applications
  • Experience implementing meaningful unit testing and building end-to-end testing
  • Working knowledge of C#, .NET, Python, or similar OOP language
  • Understanding of CI/CD best practices and releasing code utilizing a deployment pipeline
  • Continuous learner on new technologies that can determine whether they should be used and what the best approach is for a particular project
  • Willingness to own decision-making for technical tasks and projects
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with team leads
  • Must be eligible to obtain a US Government security clearance
