Join our Engineering and Technology team

Our Early Career Program in Engineering and Technology inspires and guides recent graduates through career-shaping experiences. This two-year program consists of rotational assignments in Technology roles. The program is designed to accelerate participants' professional development through intense technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments.

Working in our Early Career Program, you will be a part of Baker Hughes' innovation. You will be provided opportunities to enhance your engineering or technology-based knowledge, as well as stretch opportunities to collaborate with customers on developing breakthrough technologies, working on well-sites, with digital analytics, additive manufacturing, or energy transition initiatives. Program graduates have the technical and business foundation to continually make innovative contributions to our future, taking energy forward.

As part of our Early Career Program, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in intentional and structured career development activities and receiving active coaching and mentoring
  • Completing formal training in engineering fundamentals essential to Baker Hughes Engineers and relevant for the business
  • Networking globally and cross-functionally, leading program initiatives or projects with peers, interacting with global business leaders
  • Solving critical business challenges through cross-functional, mission-based teams

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or another STEM subject
  • Have a maximum of three years' work experience post-degree
  • Have a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 or equivalent
  • Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have effective communication skills
  • Be inquisitive and outwardly present a thirst for more knowledge
  • Be geographically mobile (locations vary)
  • Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or temporary resident, and will not need employment sponsorship now or in the future

The annual pay scale for this position is between $68,866 - $93,174.

Candidates for this role (office-based/hybrid/remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.

You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level, and specific requirements of each of these plans.

This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here , and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
