Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer - 12 Month Contract

Location - 100% Remote (MUST be a Colorado Resident)

Duration - Initial 12 Month Contract (potential for extension)

Pay Rate - $55-60/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, and relevant stakeholders to design applications aligned with department strategies (e.g., Cloud First, Mobile First, Secure Colorado).
• Work with Business Analysts, Customers, and Project Managers to assist in the development of project estimates and timelines.
• Develop applications according to business requirements using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies, depending on the project needs.
• Perform coding (for in-house applications) or configuration management according to best practices and standards, ensuring quality through disciplined unit testing.
• Coordinate system updates and releases, contribute to break/fix solutions, and maintain documentation and configuration details throughout the application's lifecycle.
• Organize, build, and validate all components of code for final User Acceptance Testing as part of the release process.
• Ensure development efforts comply with established service portfolio policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Develop application code to meet current requirements while anticipating future enhancement needs.
• Recommend improvements to development policies, processes, templates, and procedures to enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with developers and other department staff in a matrix management environment, following established protocols for engaging additional resources.
• Identify innovative solutions to overcome challenges during development, ensuring efficient and effective implementation for customer requirements.

Requirements:

• 3 years experience in PHP development.
• 3-5 years experience in either C# and/or Java.
• 3-5 years experience in Javascript/jQuery.
• 1+ year of Shell Scripting experience.
• BASH or other Linux experience.
• 1+ year experience with GIT.
