We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Senior Civil or Environmental Project Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The Senior Civil Project Engineer will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions - What You Will Do
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D as a design tool to: (i) prepare engineering drawings and related graphics; (ii) perform calculations; and (iii) integrate with other engineering software.
- Use engineering software to prepare calculations supporting: (i) stormwater management, hydrology, and drainage designs; (ii) slope stability evaluations; (iii) and other design projects.
- Manage preparation of technical reports, permit applications, specifications, and other deliverables.
- Analyze and interpret field and laboratory data, as well as other project-related data that supports assessment, design, and construction activities.
- Set technical strategy and oversee production of technical work products.
- Coordinate with project team members and clients.
- Plan and lead field investigation programs, including management of subconsultants.
- Manage project execution and budgeting.
- Formulate conclusions, recommendations, and strategies to move projects forward in close collaboration with the client and project team.

Competencies - What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years relevant experience and a BS in Civil Engineering.
- Possess or be working toward PE Licensure.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Experience with site civil engineering, grading, stormwater design, and pipe layout is needed.
- Experience providing construction observation and construction administration services.
- Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter, with ability to work well as a team member, drive individual performance, and possess a collaborative communication style.

Position Type - What You Should Know
- Full-time position.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours.
- Hybrid position with 2 - 3 days in the office.
- Located in the Denver, CO area.
- Must reside in the United States.
Pay
- The salary range for this position is $78k to $88k/year and is commensurate with experience.
