Ecobat is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team at Ecobat Indianapolis, a leading heavy industrial manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from basic maintenance to leading complex projects, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
- Perform routine and advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Support and lead project planning and execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct basic to comprehensive electrical testing and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and advanced safety protocols.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and development of electrical systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of electrical equipment across the plant.
- Lead strategic projects and initiatives to improve manufacturing processes.
- 0-8+ years of experience in an industrial setting, with responsibilities increasing with experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- In -depth understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with various departments.
