WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop manual and automated test cases, including ad-hoc and exploratory testing, to deliver high-quality releases.
- Take ownership of feature quality by developing comprehensive QE strategies and test plans, completing tests, evaluating risk, tracking defects, and communicating updates to the team to ensure high-quality features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives, ensure alignment on quality goals, identify areas of improvement and resolve quality-related issues.
- Partner engineering and quality teams to promote the adoption of effective test automation methods, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and recommended guidelines and continuously improve QE processes and methodologies.
- Monitor and report on QE metrics and performance indicators, and ensure timely and accurate communication of QE status and issues.
- Work closely with customers to understand their workflows and needs and adapt or pivot quickly based on their feedback.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience working in software quality.
- Strong experience with iOS and Android mobile testing, including testing subscription-based apps and in-app purchases.
- Extensive hands-on experience in crafting test strategy, documentation, automated UI, functional tests, performance testing, load testing, and security testing for mobile simulators and physical mobile devices.
- Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices with Git/Jenkins and developing in automation such as Swift (XCUITest Framework) or Kotlin/Java.
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills, with a strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems related to bug detection, regression and defect tracking.
- Skill to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience leading QA processes for large and complex applications, with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $107,000 -- $210,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
