Position Summary:
We are looking for an innovative engineer to contribute to the design and development of advanced transmission systems. This role involves a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to enhance our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Project Management:
Oversee the design, evaluation, and testing of transmission components, ensuring they meet our rigorous standards. - Documentation Control:
Manage and update technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Change Evaluation:
Analyze and respond to proposed modifications from suppliers and production teams. - Troubleshooting:
Identify and rectify engineering issues to optimize product performance. - Technical Support:
Provide guidance and assistance to engineering teams and support staff throughout the project lifecycle. - Program Coordination:
Lead testing initiatives to validate design concepts and functionality. - Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Facilitate communication between engineering and other departments, as well as external partners. - Vendor Engagement:
Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and clients to ensure project alignment and address any concerns. - Technical Documentation:
Develop essential technical documents, including testing procedures and maintenance manuals. - Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other related tasks as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering roles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear and concise presentations.
- Exceptional analytical skills to address complex engineering challenges.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and design principles.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and components.
- Experience in the design and operation of transmission systems, including clutches, gears, and hydraulic controls.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies in the automotive sector.
