Expected Duration: 05+ Months with a strong possibility of extension

Job Type: Contract: 40hr/week

Pay Range: $44.74/hr. to $49.21/hr. on W2 (actual compensation may vary)

Job Description: Designs, develops, installs, tests, and documents complex applications software, including server, client, and web components. Contributes to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components. Provides work guidance to less experienced personnel and may provide technical consulting on complex projects.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new or upgraded software applications.
2. Apply best practices and standard operating procedures by way of SDLC requirements and knowledge of tracking in an SDLC Platform.
3. Test new software, fix bugs, and work with end users for issue resolution.
4. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code for the development team and end-user population.
5. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming at the direction of the architecture team.
6. Deliver a high-quality application and ensure a required level of performance.

Qualifications

1. Expert in API C# .NET
2. Experienced in JWT or other claims-based knowledge
3. Experience developing web applications and using third-party controls
4. Proficiency in C# and experience using the latest .NET 6 framework
5. Experience using relevant tool suites (Visual Studio Enterprise 2019 - 2022)
6. Understanding of HTML/HTML5, JS, Bootstrap, and CSS3
7. Familiarity with Design Patterns like SOA, Micro Services, Event Driven
8. Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies
9. Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases along with SSRS reporting
10. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code and configuration as code build and deployment using the CICD pipeline
11. Writing serverless code in C# .NET and Lambda, AWS, and Azure experience

1. 8 - 10 years' experience
2. Identity Frameworks: ASP.NET Identity, OAuth2/OpenID Connect
3. Authentication Protocols: JWT, SAML
4. Security Best Practices: Encryption, Hashing algorithms, Secure Coding
5. Authentication Providers (MFA): Okta
6. Authorization: Role-Based Access Control, Claim-Based Authorization
7. API Security
