This leader will have the unique opportunity to own the end-to-end development of critical and strategic services and work with a team of talented engineers who work in an agile fashion to evolve our portfolio of products and platforms.

  • Assist in assuring both internal and external program integrity by being alert to and reporting suspected instances of provider and employee fraud, waste, or abuse.

Essential Functions:

  • Take a lead role in software development, design, architecture, and requirements analysis.
  • Leverage and provide input into tooling and platform standards.
  • Follow and maximize the use of standard software, languages, and data products.
  • Lead, in collaboration with our partners, implementations of the Reference Architectures and Business Strategies.
  • Ability to function as part of a team and be a collaborator in the team.
  • Have a keen interest in the Healthcare Payor/Provider landscape.
  • Serve as a technical specialist to the enterprise, lending your technical acumen to steer, influence, and provide guidance to business partners.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 4 years of broad IT experience in building applications and services using web and internet technologies is required, preferably in a startup/small organization.
  • Extensive experience with digital technologies and database systems.
  • Extensive experience with API design and development.
  • Broad technical delivery experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-driven and a self-starter attitude with experience in CI/CD development pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of micro-service/micro-frontend design (12 Factor) leveraging JavaScript/Typescript/Python.
  • Solid experience with SQL and No-SQL.
  • Solid understanding of OAuth.
  • Solid understanding of Azure and container-based deployment on that platform.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes including setup, security, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of development of secure code.

Work Conditions:

  • Regularly requires walking, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and/or repetitive wrist/hand movements for various lengths of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to utilize computers and office equipment to complete daily work responsibilities.
  • Requires continuous, normal hearing and vision.
  • Regularly works inside in areas that are adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuation in temperature. No protective equipment routinely needed.
  • Must be able to adapt to continuous changes/demands of the job.
