Job Description:
Metas Solutions has an opening for an experienced DevOps Engineer . To consult on a program initiative to establish a modernized public health (PH) data ecosystem, including efforts to modernize infrastructure and system needs to help federal, state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) organizations make decisions about necessary improvements that will allow data to flow more seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with Azure services.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of Azure-based applications and infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and applications.
- Stay updated on the latest Azure services and features and evaluate their potential for improving our systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Entry level to Senior level experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focusing on Azure.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and/or Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.
- Azure certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
