Job Description/Skills: Google Cloud Platform DevOps Infra Architect

Responsibilities

1. Foundation components Networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Firewall and Routes), IAM, Folder Structure, Organization Policy, VPC Service Control, Security Command Center etc.
2. Application Components - BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Monitoring, Dataproc, Data Fusion, Big Table, Dataflow etc.
3. Operational Components Audit Logs, Cloud Monitoring, Alerts, Billing Exports etc.
4. Security Components KMS, Secrets Manager etc.
5. Experience with Infrastructure Automation using Terraform.
6. Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, Gitlab, Bitbucket Pipelines etc. and Source Code Management tools like GIT.
7. Experience with scripting - Shell Scripting and Python.

Requirements

1. 8+ years of demonstrated relevant experience deploying and supporting public cloud Infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform as primary) IaaS and PaaS.
2. Experience in configuring and managing the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure environment components.
3. Mandatory Skills: Google Cloud Platform Networking (VPC, Firewall, Routes & VPN), CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Shell Scripting/Python Scripting.
4. Primary Skills: BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Fusion.
5. Secondary Skills: Composer, BigQuery, GKE, Dataproc.
6. Good To Have: Certifications in any of the following: Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, Cloud Network Engineer.
7. Participate in incident discussions and work with the Team towards resolving platform issues.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to communicate with customers, developers, and other stakeholders.
10. Mentor and guide team members.
11. Good Presentation skills.
