PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Mechanical engineering support for new and existing Encompass building evaluation and restoration projects.
2. Engineering field evaluation and analysis of HVAC and plumbing systems.
3. Engineering/design of HVAC systems and/or HVAC system repairs and modifications.
4. Engineering/design of plumbing systems and/or repairs and modifications.
5. Engineering forensic services in support of construction litigation projects, including participation in depositions and trials.
6. Provide heating and cooling load calculations for a variety of different structures and projects.
7. Perform HVAC commissioning on new construction projects.
8. Serve as the mechanical department lead; coordinate and direct workload to mechanical staff, serve as a mentor, provide peer review for work produced by others.
9. Assist in generation of new business, including proposal development, potential client interaction, and other means of promoting Encompass mechanical services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must possess a current Minnesota Professional Engineer license (PE)
