IIB Senior Developer

Title: IIB Senior Developer/Integration Architect

Location: Downers Grove, IL (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-time/Contract

Salary: $135K Per Annum / $70/hr on C2C

Required Skills:

• Experience designing REST APIs
• Significant experience with systems integration
• Experience with the design of complex systems; employs a disciplined and rigorous approach
• Adept at requirements analysis, estimation, systems, and application design
• Excellent collaboration, influencing, and consensus-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision
• Great team player, with demonstrable experience delivering superior software products via Agile methodologies

Desired Skills:

• Familiar with the IBM Technology stack – APIc API Platform, IIB Orchestration layer, eXtreme scale, or similar technology stack for integration design
• Experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodology
• Experience with distributed caching solutions

Job Details:

• Proven experience in architecture beyond lead design duties with thorough understanding of application architectural componentization
• Deep knowledge of architecture principles and their application on several projects
• Clear understanding of the difference between architecture and high-level design
• Architecture experience should be heavily based in System Integration
• Demonstrated architecture experience with Service Interface Design utilizing Service or Data Bus technology focusing on performance
• Experience with Service and API management applications (e.g. IIB, Layer7, APIc, WSRR, etc.)
• Strong UML experience is essential
• Understanding of rules engine and business process management (BPM) applications and tools is preferred
• Proven project experience and ability to lead a group through architectural development process
• Ability to define technical requirements and their relationship to functional requirements
• Strong business and technology decision-making skills
• Prior experience in a technical leadership role
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Agile Methodology including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired
• Healthcare or Insurance/Financial services industry knowledge is preferred
