Position Overview:
The Full Stack Developer plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of Advanse’s applications. Leveraging their experience in analysis, design, coding, and testing of software applications, the developer will conceptualize software solutions at both the unit and system levels. A thorough understanding of the latest development standards, philosophies, tools, and applications is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 10+ years of Software Design and Development experience with Java, Spring and Open source technologies
- 3+ years of experience using Modern Javascript technologies and frameworks like NodeJS, React, NextJS
- 2+ years of experience developing applications in AWS.
- Building consumer facing web applications in Open Source Framework
- Strong understanding of system scalability and performance tuning
- Iterative software development methodologies, such as Agile
- Understanding of Test Driven Development
- Strong understanding of development and administration of databases and database management systems.
- Experience working with microservices or understanding of challenges and solutions for developing systems in a distributed cloud environment.
- Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills
Technical Skills: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive WebFlux, Spring GraphQL, Microservices, Spring Security, MySQL/Aurora, React, NextJS, Git, Linux - bash shell scripting, Core AWS services, AWS Development tools, Docker, vitest or other frontend testing framework, React Testing Library, TailwindCSS, HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
- Knowledge of AWS cloud deployment, networking, and monitoring tools (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional/AWS Certified Developer Associate Preferred)
- Strong understanding of system scalability and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of Application Architecture and Solutions Architecture best practices
- Iterative software development methodologies
- Strong knowledge to work with microservices and serverless technologies like AWS Lambda
- Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills

Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
