Maintenance Engineer

Responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used to generate power, heat, air conditioning, and refrigeration throughout Vista facilities. Responsible to keep records of boiler pressure, temperature, power output, and fuel consumption. Ensure that hospital equipment and systems are started and operated in the most cost-effective manner while maintaining a maximum level. Test and adjust water-conditioning equipment. Test and adjust water-conditioning equipment. Test and adjust water-conditioning equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and utility systems.

Requirements:

• Experience as a stationary engineer or related experience in the field.

• Working knowledge of power plant equipment, systems and components, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, and computerized building management systems.

• Ability to read, understand, and utilize technical manuals and operating and safety procedures.

• Good oral and written communication skills required.
