gpac is working with a client company, south of Raleigh, NC, who is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer for their food production facility! FOOD MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

The ideal candidate is able to apply engineering skills and lean techniques to generate continuous improvements in manufacturing in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities for Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer:


  • 4 year engineering degree
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Green belt/black belt
  • 7 years experience in high volume process based food manufacturing
  • Ability to teach manufacturing and technical concepts
  • Hands on approach, being on the floor with equipment and operator
  • Proficient in Excel
